CONFIG Settings

NOTE

In the configuration mode, the voltmeter displays the config item and the ammeter displays its setting.
Turn the VOLTAGE knob to select the config item.
Turn the CURRENT knob to select its setting.

CONFIG settings (Resetting the LAN interface settings or restarting the LAN interface)

1.  Press CONFIG key three times.

The CONFIG key LED lights and the SET key LED blinks.
The voltmeter displays "CF30" and the ammeter displays "on."

2.  Turn the VOLTAGE knob to select the config item you want to set (CF33 or CF34).

When CF33 is selected, the voltmeter displays "CF33" and the ammeter displays "LCi."
When CF34 is selected, the voltmeter displays "CF34" and the ammeter displays "boot."

3.  Press SET key.

The CONFIG key LED turns off, and the SET key LED, config item, and its setting all blink.

4.  Press SET key again.

All key LEDs light up, and then 4 to 5 seconds later, the LAN interface reset (CF33) or restart (CF34) operation completes, and the PMX exits the configuration mode.

CONFIG Settings (Resetting the panel settings)

1.  Press CONFIG key.

The CONFIG key LED lights and the SET key blinks.
The voltmeter displays "CF20" and the ammeter displays "LAn."

2.  Press SET key.

The CONFIG key LED turns off, and the SET key LED, config item, and its setting all blink.

3.  Press SET key again.

The PMX exits the configuration mode, and all the settings which are supposed to be reset when *RST command is sent are reset.

CONFIG settings (Others)

1.  Press CONFIG key once, twice, three times, or four times.

The CONFIG key LED lights.
When the key pressed once, the voltmeter displays "CF00."
When the key pressed twice, the voltmeter displays "CF20."
When the key pressed three times, the voltmeter displays "CF30."
When the key pressed four times, the voltmeter displays "CF50."

2.  Turn the VOLTAGE knob to select the config item you want to set.

The SET key LED blinks.
When the voltmeter displays "CF00", you can specify the items between CF00 and CF07.
When the voltmeter displays "CF20", you can specify CF20 or CF21.
When the voltmeter displays "CF30", you can specify the items between CF30 and CF41.
When the voltmeter displays "CF50", you can specify CF50 or CF51.

3.  Turn the CURRENT knob to select the setting.

4.  To continue to set or display the other config items, repeat steps 2 and 3. To exit the configuration mode, proceed to step 5.

5.  Hold down CONFIG key until the measured values are displayed on both voltmeter and ammeter, or press OUTPUT key or LOCAL key.

The PMX exits the configuration mode, and the setting of CF02, CF03, CF04, CF05, CF06, CF07, or CF21 is confirmed immediately after exiting the configuration mode.

6.  Restart the PMX.

The setting of CF01, CF20, CF30, CF31, or CF32 is confirmed after restarting the PMX.

CONFIG parameter (LAN settings) details

CF30: DHCP parameter

Selects whether or not to obtain an IP address from a DHCP server. If you are using a fixed IP address, set this to "oFF."
This parameter is applied when you restart the PMX or when you execute rebooting the LAN interface (CF34).

Value Parameter description
oFF A DHCP server is not used.
on A DHCP server is used (factory default setting).

CF31: AUTO IP address parameter

Set whether to automatically obtain an IP address when you are not using or can not use a DHCP server. The address that is assigned by the AUTO IP function is 169.254.x.x (where x is a number between 0 and 254). If you are using a fixed IP address, set this to "oFF." This parameter is applied when you restart the PMX or when you execute rebooting the LAN interface (CF34).

CF32: MANUAL IP address parameter

Set whether to manually specify an IP address when you are not using or can not use a DHCP server. If you are using a fixed IP address, set this to "on." This parameter is applied when you restart the PMX or when you execute rebooting the LAN interface (CF34).

oFF The MANUAL IP function will not be used (factory default setting).
on The MANUAL IP function will be used.

CF33: Resetting the LAN interface settings (LCI)

Sets whether the LAN interface settings will be reset to their factory default settings. You can use this if you forget the security password or IP address.

Value Parameter description
LCi The LAN interface settings will be reset to their factory default settings.

CF34: Restarts the LAN interface (REBOOT)

Restarts the LAN interface. The LAN interface settings that you have specified do not change.

Value Parameter description
boot The LAN interface settings are saved, and the interface is restarted.

CF35 to CF38: IP address display

These parameters display the set IP addresses. The IP addresses are just displayed; they cannot be set from the panel. To set a fixed IP address, access the PMX through embedded Web pages. To access the PMX through embedded Web site, you need to be able to use DHCP server or AUTO IP feature.

CF38 0 to 255 Displays the fourth IP address number

CF39 to CF41: MAC address display

These parameters display the set MAC addresses. The MAC addresses are just displayed; they cannot be set through the front panel. MAC addresses are set to 00.0F.CE.xx.xx.xx (where x is a hexadecimal number between 0 and F).
